On Saturday, May 24, 2025, three engaged employees – Klaus Hartl, Wolfgang Elsner, and Jürgen Danner – participated in the Schwandorf District Running. In the men’s walking category, the trio achieved an impressive 9th place. They took nearly 2.5 hours to complete the approximately 18-kilometer route, which started in Münchshofen and led through Katzdorf to the finish line in Maxhütte-Haidhof.
Particularly noteworthy is the performance of Klaus Hartl, who also competed as an individual participant. In the individual walkers group, he achieved an excellent 4th place with a time of just over 2 hours.
The district running covered a total of around 57 kilometers from Rottendorf to Maxhütte-Haidhof. Participants could choose to compete either as runners (57 km) or walkers (18 km) and tackle the stages individually or as a team.
