“RED GOLD” – DIP-FORMED COPPER ROD
With its special profile of properties, copper has become indispensable as a modern material.
If it’s about very high electrical or thermal conductivity combined with optimal forming suitability, copper is the first choice.
In addition, “red gold” also offers excellent corrosion resistance and particularly good recycling properties.
A portion of the global copper production, after initial refinement, is further refined into copper wire rod. This so-called “rod” is the ideal starting material for further processing by drawing, rolling or other manufacturing processes, whereby copper already demonstrates its unique properties.
We are distinguished by the production of oxygen-free copper, which has optimized electrical and mechanical properties. We process around 70,000 tons of the precious metal in the dip-forming plant and overall 65,000 tons in the wire drawing shops at both locations.
